About me

I moved to Tokyo in 2003 for life experience, starting out teaching English before running my own design studio for six years where I built a robust client list working with clients across music, apparel, corporate and education. Returning to Australia in 2011, I joined Trout Creative Thinking in Collingwood working on web and motion projects. Next I moved in-house at NAB, where I shifted from web and motion design into UX, combining my curiosity about human behaviour with design and then extending this I went on to become UX creative lead at EnergyAustralia.

In 2019 I joined the ACTU, leading a major project from end to end, from research and strategy through to UX and final design. Since then I’ve focused on work with positive impact: workplace safety and workers’ rights at the ACTU, saving lives at Australian Red Cross Lifeblood, and now improving access to education at Federation University, helping organisations embrace user-first design to reach their goals.
